- Upgraded and assisted heavily with maintenance of Metadata Programs & the Common Library Programs and Files of NASA's Clouds and Earth's Radiant Energy System (CERES) Project at NASA's Langley Research Center

-The common library and Metadata software mentioned above are used throughout the CERES project and was upgraded from Fortran 77/90 and Fortran95 combination to C++ Language and from ADA to C++, Perl and PHP.

- Assisted with developing and testing of Inversion Software used on the CERES project.

- Worked with programs that use versions 5 and 6 of the Hierarchical Data Format (HDF) as well as netCDF; a set of file formats and libraries designed to store and organize large amounts of numerical data for NASA

- Assisted with developing SRBAVG Lite Web Database for NASA using Perl and PHP. Created and maintained an Oracle Lite database & wrote corresponding Stored Procedures and SQL scripts in this effort.

- Made written assessments of Databases used by the J3 Sector of JFCOM as to their relevance to the Defense Critical Infrastructure Program (DCIP) of JFCOM

- Observed the Global Information Grid (GIG) Network on a daily basis and reported any possible subversive activity, abnormalities or interruptions that could impact JFCOM to superiors and made recommendations for change

-Designed, coded, tested, and deployed real-time software developed by VSE for the U.S. Postal Service’s  Automated Bar Code Sorters (BCS). The BCS, using bar code on the parcel, sorted the parcel(s) inot twenty (20) individual bin bins via zip code(s). The software I wrote and was responsible for was for the BCS Display Panels, which indicated to the postal operator(s) which bin represented which zip code. The software was written in C Language in a QNX ( a UNIX derivative)Operating System environment. I also wrote software that handled parcels without zip codes or otherwise were flawed, imperfect as well as those that were ok but did not fit the Bar Code paradigm.
